Frequently Asked Questions

-
Are there any other costs? Not from us. Yes you will still need to pay for the upkeep of your property as well as the cleaning costs etc. You continue to deal directly with the property caretaker so you are confident that all is in order with your significant investment.
-
Can I be paid in $s?Yes you can be paid in any currency of your choice. Almost half our bookings are made in US$s, most of the other half are made in £s Sterling, a small percentage are paid in Canadian $'s €uros etc. we try to minimise currency exchange costs by sharing receipts out in the currencies received but inevitably we do have to move a balance each month from one currency to another.
-
What commission do you charge? We charge 20% of the rental fee we charge the customer. We are happy to open our books to you so that you can verify this is what we are doing.
-
When do I get paid?We work on the same basis as your local agent is likely to operate. Namely we pay you at the start of the month following the end of the rental period. This enables us to manage the deposit aspect, as well as any problems if they arise with your property. The major benefit is that it allows us to manage the costs of currency exchange as to convert a larger volume once a month is far cheaper for everyone than doing this on a daily basis as holidaymakers come and go. In the event of hardship we can review this policy but this is certainly the default and we do try to enforce it.
